In an effort to educate students about the role of local government and increase awareness about the opportunities that careers in the public sector offer, the City of Vernon will be hosting a “Career Day” seminar. The seminar is intended to provide an overview of internships and various fields of service within the City and touch upon education paths. This educational session will be open to all, but will be geared toward high school and early college-aged students.
