Vernon Public Utilities is excited to share that residential customers can now go online to pay their utility bill. More features are to come next year, including online bill pay for businesses, a customer portal, paperless billing, and the ability to schedule payments in advance, just to name a few! All of these new capabilities are connected to the utility’s effort to convert to the City’s new financial and utility billing system. 
 
In the meantime, residents are able to enjoy the convenience of paying from the comfort of their home. Once a resident receives their bill in the mail, they can simply pick up their smart phone, their tablet, or go online from their computer to pay their bill. The payment platform supports all major credit card options: Visa, American Express, Mastercard, and even Paypal and Venmo. All transactions are safely and securely handled from a double-data-encrypted and secured site.
